1972 A Body (Demon) Spare Tire Hardware/Install

Thank you Johnny and in theory, it's the method recommended by Chrysler.
But in fact, the stud is too short (16cm) and it's impossible to overlap all the parts.
I tried in several ways, but it's impossible.

I finally tried like that :

The wheel well

A bare steel rim (all my other wheels have too much wide tires to make a test), upside down.
The stud is loose.

With the metal cup installed, the stud is centered.

Spare2.jpg
The only way to position the jack hook (not over the stud..!)

Spare3.jpg
The jack base, upside down, presses down the hook.

Spare4.jpg
The wing nut.

Spare5.jpg
The cardboard.

Spare6.jpg
The trunk mat.

In my opinion, this is the only way to store the wheel, hook and base in the wheel well and to obtain a flush cardboard on the trunk floor.
