anybody know of someone making headers for a 65 a body big block ? I don"t care if fender or under body Thanks

Unfortunately, it's law of supply & demand. I don't see the multitude of early A body owners shoe horning a B or RB engine in their cars.

I guess if it were easy everybody would be doing it. I should have done better research before " shoehorning " that thing in there.

The only reason my Demon has a small block, instead of a big block is I got a smoking deal on an iron headed 408 stroker. My original plans were to put a stroked RB in the car. The small block came up at an opportune time, & the rest as they say is "history". Now I building a 416 copy of a Hensley engine, all I had to do was find another early 360 block to go 4.060 & turn the rod journals on the crank .010 because of a rod bearing. I got all of the reciprocating components relatively inexpensively, including 2 extra sets of aluminum rods, 2 sets of push rods & an extra intake that I port matched to my aluminum heads.

That build sounds sweet. I have a small block on the back burner but was saving that for a sleeper on the street. going to keep looking for headers. like they if it's meant to be

custom made is what you'll have to do.. thats what i did back in the early 90's to put exhaust on my 440 64 valiant.

that's the way I'll most likely end up doing, cost to have fun. Guess might as will cram a turbo in there too, won't that be fun

I built a set of fenderwell headers for a 65 Dart/440 combo. Turning radius was so wide i built a recess into the firewall to move the tubes back. Or you could look into a flat four style collecter. Not sure if that would work, just a thought.
One other option is going to a pinto style or Mustang II Front end to gain room everywhere.
