Whatever happened to whitepunkonitro

So every one of the people you spoke to or "learned" from over the years was spot on correct and never gave you information you went against? Though, somehow you figured out everything on your own? probably not.

Look, I don't think anyone here is saying UT is the guy to go to for all things engine related. The problem is the seemingly endless amount of hate for this guy. As I said above, it's a source of motivation for younger/older/newer people and most of it is basic enough to get by and get started. That said, I come here for the more advanced stuff with good reason. I look to those that have gone before and eventually build on that information.
Point was you have to do it yourself. Yes ..you get some twisted ideas and wrong answers.. that's why you need to do it,learn it, so you can understand it.
There are 3 books that are must haves.
A lot of people here still don't retain or know the stuff in 'mopar performance upgrades' or all the back issues of mmm, ma.
Generally speaking, If you don't understand the dynamics ...you'll need a UTC to hold your hand the rest of your days.

Okay, so we have both views...
The view of the young aspiring vs one version of the view from the experienced.
I say it that way because not all will think like i do.
