Mail scenic delivery

The other thing that needs to be added into the equation for this is the fact since C19 hit, the package volume at the post office has been higher than typical Christmas volumes, all year long. Include the fact that they can't keep people and you have a lose-lose situation. Not defending them, just trying to help fill in the background.

Have a friend that worked for USPS until recently. He finally quit because he couldn't take it anymore. He was out until 10:00 PM sometimes and making 2 trips when his van wouldn't hold all the packages. Add that he was a part time employee and supposed to only be working 2 days a week, not the 6 (or 7?) he was working.

Based on what he has told me, they are seriously overworked, and been told to shut up and work harder. Doesn't sound like there is any hope for relief for them.

We sent a Christmas gift to my son this year that was supposed to be there 2 days before Christmas Eve. Got there last week. Honestly, in the end I am just glad it got there at all.
