For me it was 1969-1970. I went to see Three Dog Night. It was at the now gone Curtis Hixon hall in Tampa Fl.

:rofl: I just posted this 15 minutes ago in another thread :rofl:

Technically The Association was the first concert I ever attended. Of all places on God's green earth, they played in our high school general purpose room in the middle of a school day free, in lovely Barstow Ca. of all places :rofl:. There was some speculation amongst us that their tour bus broke down and they were stuck in town on the way to or from a gig in Vegas :rofl:. Nobody stops in Barstow on purpose unless it's for gas or snacks on the way to Vegas :rofl:

Grand Funk Railroad 1970 @ West Virginia University. Supposed to see The Who but weather canceled them out. Turned out to be A super show!
Might add the only one I ever went to, 20 years old!

I grew up in the 50s and 60s.............too many drugs..........cAN'T REMEMBR...............leave me alone!!!!:mad::mob::poke::realcrazy::soapbox:

X/Oingo Boingo at Pacific Amphitheater in Orange County, Ca 1983. I was 15. Big sister brought me to see X but Boingo stuck with me. Bought their new album the next day!

Thinking about it I want to say it was Boston, May? of 77 at Cumberland County Civic Center.

There were soooo many for about 4 years of my young adult life.

Super Jam August 1982 REO Speedwagon, Loverboy, .38 Special, Rainbow, and 707. Tickets were like $15. Donnie Van Zant was in a full leg cast and hopped all over the stage the entire show. Loverboy pretty much stole the whole show though.

Willie Nelson at the Cow Palace or Oakland Colosseum when I was around five or so...
