I used PVC pipe cut at an angle on a bike faring. It worked good but the gauges lent themselves well to the procedure. Not sure if yours will do that.
More work than I want to do Charlie I'm getting tired of working on it. the fiberglass and bending the stainless was enough for me.

So I'm thinking of going to look at a 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 tomorrow. Truck has 110k miles on it, 5.7 hemi, seller says it has a ticking noise and a misfire code on cyl 6. Anyone have any tips or ideas, suggestions, etc? Asking price seems pretty good, it's a club cab model, looks pretty straight and rust free.

Did they have the hemi in 03?

I seem to remember looking at an 03 that was advertised as a hemi, and turned out to be a magnum

The seller got it stuck in the mud in his own back yard, trying to prove the 4x4 worked

What do you fuel it with Mark?
Methyl-Hydrate BP. Just put some water in the boiler. (check safeties) put the fuel in the wick, light the fuel and put it under the boiler and let her build steam then suddenly it takes of like mad.
My buddy used to teach automotive at the local high school so I took it over there to show the kids. They really enjoyed and the two girls in the class really showed interest in it.
Thanks once again BP for doing this. Maybe I can return the favour some time

Being a 2003 it won't have MDS so will be a hog on gas. The older Hemi's had a problem with the camshaft so I've been told but can't confirm that. If you can get it for the right price that's great. Will you be keeping it or just flipping it?

Morning guys. Time to get out of bed and then snooze on the couch.
What's the plans for the weekend? We're doing a major clean up in the house for one thing. Been raining most of the night but no snow and supposed to be sunny later so I'll be doing the two boot salute this afternoon hopefully. Really enjoying my daily walks.
Some guy on FB posted 6 more Mondays till Spring, I hope he's right.
