So I have always liked the Mopar Go-wing and a while back I asked if anyone ever put it on a Valiant. I took a chance and purchased one from a fellow member and moved it around on the trunk lid until it looked good and drilled to install. I was either going to like it or hate it and I like the way it came out. Now yes I understand that Valiant's did not come with them, and some may think its odd looking etc. The way I see it is just because it was not an option for this particular A-body does not mean it won't look good. I also look at it as its just a Valiant, not a Duster, or a Demon or even a scamp, more of the desired cars and ones that fetch a higher value. This is a car that I have been having fun with, and always like having something that's a little different than most cars. Like me im sure there is someone else out there wondering if someone else has tried it, or wants to do what I did well, here is some picture of how it came out!

I wouldn't say it's "just " a valiant.

Those are getting hard to find in that condition and that is a stylish and good car. Thanks for appreciating and taking care of it.

I think 4 doors are so underrated. Used to be the same with wagons.

Thanks,

I've also fallen into that mind set of 4 doors are worth less than the sporty 2 doors therefor less value. They do show it a little when it comes to buying one. Its good for someone thats interested in a valiant as you could get one for a bargain.

Looks good i like it! I was back and forth on putting one on my dart swinger. Love the car btw more doors rock!

I’ve sort of done the same thing with my Dart 270 wagon to Dart 270/GT panel wagon conversion. I like the “portholes” found on the lower door/fender on the Dart GT’s. So they’re getting added on mine.

cool car it's always nice to see them on the road. it's also nice to have a car that's not so valuable that you can't make little changes without someone railing on you about your change not being factory correct.

For some reason I was thinking you were putting the big wing from the Superbird on your Valiant. I think that would look pretty good as well, a little out of the ordinary but that's what you said you were going for.

By the way the Go-Wing looks like it belongs there. We four door owners have known for a long time how cool 4 doors are. Now the rest of the world has caught up with us. Most of the sporty cars around these days are 4 doors.

Where was that when we were shaggin rides to school in the Winter behind neighbours cars???

Thanks for the input guys, one of the things I was worried about was people being period correct and giving flak because it does not belong. It is nice messing around with a lesser value car and making it a tad different. People around town today seem to dig it too!
