So what is the earliest concert you can remember going to

Same here a buddy of mine talked me out of going to the Atlanta Pop festival. I believe was the last concert Hendrix played. Like July 70. The second one in Byron Ga.
Hendrixs last US concert was In Hawaii i believe. His final last concert was in Germany Early September 1970. 2, 3 weeks before his death

I just realized that the guy in the pic with torch is fixing to pull the jack from under the car and everyone is trying to stop him!!!!
That guy under the car is Marino, back of album is pretty funny, love his shirt too. Wish I could find one like it!

PLATNUMN BLONDE 1985 at the Charlottetown Fourm which is long gone now .

So besides being in their Momma's womb at a Concert in the 60s who is winning so far????:rofl::rofl:

Ozzy, White Lion and Vixen. 1988...I was 12. Alpine Valley, WI.

Shows and concerts being a little different in my mind, so the first show I can remember seeing was Buddy Rich with my grandma at a place called Jamie’s on 7, back in 73 or 74, followed by The Ink Spots. The first concert I saw was Kiss at the Pontiac Silverfome in 1978. My biddy and I got a ride there, but we lost our ride home when we couldn’t find them, so we ended up hitch hiking home the 60 miles at 1am in the morning. We were both in 9th grade. I can remember the time between cars on the 2 lane road being very long, and us laying in the center of the road, hoping someone would stop and pick us up. I got home at 5:30, just in time to see the upstairs bathroom light go on, which meant that my parents just got up to get ready for work. I slipped into the house and into bed and pretended I had been there all night. They never did catch on!

I really don't remember much of the '70s... But I was told I had a REALLY good time.

I do remember the first concert I went to. Buffalo Springfield with Steve Miller at the Chrysler Arena. I didn't know who Buffalo Springfield was until about the fourth or fifth song in when they played "For what it's worth"

I do remember seeing Paul Revere and the Raiders. But I can’t remember what year it was. I was a young kid I remember.

Probably Skeeter Davis with Mom and Dad back in the 60's.

Damn my memory is slipping. I remember seeing Dave Clark 5 sometime when I was a kid. I went with my sister and her boyfriend.

Thats awesome! Any memories of the shows?
Definitely! Me and a buddy got dropped off, we're standing in line and we're so damn small that when the crowd started to shove forward we were off our feet suffocating! Worth it! I told my buddy, soon as the doors open, run like hell to the stage. We got right to the stage and my buddy pussed out and said..." I dont wanna die"..lol. We moved back further.. remember seeing Gene blowing fire.
Awesome!!! Ace Frehley kicked ***.. we paid like $10 a ticket. The second time we went 2 weeks later, we were late getting there, got nose bleed seats but it was still kick ***!

1974 J Giles band, Jonathan Edwards was the warm up, Virginia Tech Collesium - freshman year. Later that year I saw John Prine play (John Hartford warm up) at a jam packed bar in Blackburg Virginia - everyone was wild for Angel From Montgomery since we were all in Montgomery County Virginia.
