68 Notchback - not mine, decent $12k
I've owned numerous A,B, E and C bodies. They're all great Mopars.
The E bodies....have the worst 'cowl shake' and general looseness. They also have the worst visibility....as I get older and blinder I've come to realize that visibility out of a car lends a great deal to how well it can be driven. Even if you are young and have 20/10 vision, visibility makes a big difference.
The C bodies are by far the best built and best designed. That stands to reason as they were the high end cars, but people are more than willing to overlook that for the visuals of the B and E bodies. When you put a C up on the highway...you're really driving something. My only real gripe is they take a lot up a lot of garage space!
The B bodies...especially after 1967... are still pretty big cars. The current market for these cars, and E bodies, means getting a honest example of one is difficult and costly.
That leaves the A body....lightest, great styling, and still most affordable.
