Anyone have any suggestions for 17" wheel and tire combo for a notch back barracuda? It has stock rear springs on a drum 8 1/4 with disc break conversion up front, both have a BBP.
With 17’s you can go as wide as a 17x8 up front with up to about 5.6” of backspace, that can handle up to a 255/45/17 although that’s probably too tall (26.1”) for a barracuda without modifications to the lower front corner of the fender. 245/45/17 should work.
In the back if the 8.25 is from an A-body your max backspace is about 4.75”, 4.5” is probably better. The A-body 8.25’s are narrower than A-body 8 3/4’s. With a barracuda you should be able to fit up to a 275/45/17 on a 17x9.
