I am very new to this and see now in the book that you are indeed correct, I was mistaken on this aspect. I believe my confusion came when I had an aluminum carrier housing for the 8 3/4 and realized it could not be used in stock, but was legal in super stock. Thanks for correcting this post, I certainly have a lot to learn and do not wish to be putting incorrect information out there for others. The rule book can be quite something to decipher.
