If nothing else, check with the sanctioning body (IHRA, NHRA) divisional rep or tech inspector, they will tell you. Sometimes the rule books are ambiguous & open to interpretation by the local tech inspector. But as mentioned in my other post, if it were mine I would install for peace of mind. Ask me why. LOL
