finally had my engine dynode today after about a year of getting the right parts and machine work done. block is a 1969 340 with EQ heads with hydraulic roller cam and lifters. 450 H.P. and 450 TORQUE Can't wait for spring.

10 to 1 diamond pistons, factory rods ,comp cam 230/236 duration .565 /.565 lift 110 LSA,cast crank internally balanced,crower hydraulic roller lifters,resleeved the lifter bores,hughes 1555 1.65 roller rockers, 750 quick fuel carb,M1 intake,EQ heads 2.055 intake valves 1.65 exhaust valves. high volume oil pump,mopar distributor,milidon 7 quart oil pan

The real test is the first ride. I love this video. A motor like that on the street should be 4 spd. More control of all that power

so my goal on this build was a pump gas engine running mid 11's at about 6000 grand I think I'm good , going off of what my car has been doing for the last 15 years but we will see.

I think you have easily met your goal assuming the car is sorted out.
 
Sounds like a nice motor, but it will have trouble i bet running mid 11’s unless the car is light. Gonna need the convertor to be spot on, you have a tiny cam
Not sure how good those heads are, unfamiliar with how they flow/ work, if they are real good thst will certainly help.
Is the M1 a single plane?
 
can't say enough about edge racing convertors being spot on and going from 380hp to 450 hp i should be at least high 11's but time will tell can't wait till spring. yes it is the M1 single plane and the most important thing is its a 904 tranny which is a big difference in a quarter mile no matter what anybody says . car with me in it is 3400 lbs

I have a 69 Dart. All steel, flat hood, i weigh 330. Its 3310 at the line. 8 point mild steel bar, frame connectors.
I have a 360 with very lightly cleaned up eddies, airgap, 950, 260/264 flat tappet, 565 lift, 904, 10 to 1 compression, 5000 flash convertor.
This combo runs typically 11.40’s...
i removed an M1 in favor of the airgap. I shift at 6100. Cam is on a 106, installed at 102.
Its been 11.26 best, at almost 119
BTW, the 11.26 was with a 727, best its been with the 904 is 11.33. I know the convertor mudt be off a little, but i hsve been 1.52 60 foot. It went 1.62 with the 727, but the 11.26...

where do you live in Michigan. I race at 131, but Stanton once in a while too

i had a build close to that , same cam 11.4 comp ratio ede heads air gap with a 750 holley , best on the dyno was 425 hp 430 tq , never got into the 11 sec range even with frame connectors and cheater slicks , with the 235/60 cheater slicks never would hook up well . even if i came off the line easy it would start spinning ;ile crazy hitting second gear

I live down in Portage. I race at 131 a lot
used to work down in kazoo and portage love it down there we should hook up this spring or summer down at 131 can't wait . My name is Eddie 616 813 0773 hit me up when your coming up for test and tune us mopar dudes need to stick together LOL

there are a bunch of Mopar guys at 131. There are a bunch of us small block guys who hang out together.

No, own a car dealership, on the “ showroom” floor every winter

here is one from Martin this past summer, 4th round on a bracket night, got beat by a motorcycle this round... tight race...
