So hearing people can learn ASL (American Sign Language) It's a beautiful language when you watch it. When my daughter was married the whole ceremony was done in sign with an interpreter. I'm glad the terp was there because she signs so fast we can't keep up. Her two kids and learning sign as well. They aren't deaf and although my daughter is profound she reads lips really well and we talk to her on facetime or FB messenger all the time
