Hi,

I'm Alex, 28 yo from Germany near Munich.

I recently bought a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback. 318cui small block with 4 speed manual.
I bought it from a classic car dealer here in Germany. I'm the first registered owner here.
It is a California black plate car from Los Angeles. Numbers are matching, I also have the original broadcast sheet.

The Barracuda is in pretty good condition. It got a new paint job once in good quality.
Driving it is pure joy.

I'm now starting to work on the interior a bit, dash is not the best. Already got me the new dash trims/bezels from PG Classics.

Since I'm a newbie to vintage cars I surly will have some questions in the near future. ;)
My previos fun cars were some muscle from a newer area. Last one was a 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT.

Here is a video of my baby:

And here are some pics:
(btw: I don't drive it in snow/salt on the streets, this is just on my "clean" property ;D)

Welcome to the site.
Spent two years in Germany, at the Zweibrucken Air Base, 1974-76.

Welcome. I lived in Frankfurt for 3 years while in the US Air Force. My time in Germany was the best time in my 20 year Air Force career. The German people were so friendly, and the country was beautiful. I like the color on your car. Green looks great on the 69 fastback, doesn't it. My 69 fastback is F8 green too.

So what car did you drive in Germany? Wow, love the look of your Barracuda! I just want to do exactly that striping in white. Looks really as good as I thought! Thank you for the perfect preview how it will look on mine.

Awesome barracuda. My dad ordered one just like that in 69. His was a 340 4spd with saddle tan interior.

Flugzeug mechanic.
Jet aircraft mechanic, (Crew Chief) during my 7 years in the USAF.
The RF-4C Phantom in the signature picture was the one that i was mainly responsible for.

Welcome from another f8 green fastback owner. Mine has a 318 and 4- speed also, originally an automatic. Is your car a factory 4-speed ?

Very nice! I seen your video on FB I believe where you were having fun in the snow....welcome!!

We took a brand new 1980 Datsun 310 GX (I think you called it the Datsun Cherry) over with us. We drove it the entire three years. It was a great car. I bought a 1967 Mercedes as a second car. I drove it for about 5 months. Then I sold it and we bought a 1979 VW Westfalia camper. We LOVED that vehicle. We spent the next 2.5 years driving all over Europe and camping. It was an amazing time. People all over Europe were so friendly. We liked the camper so much that we bought a new 1984 VW camper and paid to ship it back to the states. Unfortunately when we got back to the states we had nothing but trouble with it, and the VW dealers said that since we bought it in Germany and sipped it to America, they did not have to honor the warranty. We had to sell it. When you do the stripe on your car, trust me when I use only a Phoenix Graphics brand stripe kit (@PhoenixGraphix). They make the best graphic stripes in the world. If you buy a cheaper stripe set, you will regret it. Plus they are sponsors on our site. I used their stripes on my car. You might consider buying their Application Gel. I did, and it made the job much easier. Since I bought their stripes, they sold me the gel for half price. Maybe they will do that for you. If you have any questions on applying the stripe, feel free to send me a personal massage. Measuring and setting up where the stripes go is the key. I used a few pieces of masking tape, and the application went very smoothly.
