I am going to install an 8 3/4 with sure grip and was wondering what would be a good leaf spring to use , the ones now are on a 7 1/4 and not enough for the new rear , I was looking at these Hotchkis 24385 , are these a good choice or are there others that might be a better application an or more economical ?

I bought Mopar SS springs. I didn't like the look of one side higher than the other so I ditched the right spring an put in another left. Looks good now.

I always wanted to try some really narrow leaf springs tucked up against the rails for a mini-mini-tub.

, Unsure about doing that as of now but might look into it again , right now I hadn't planned on a mini mini tub

I have Firm Feel -1 drop. But have read great reviews on the Espo. If I where to buy again it would be the Espo.

Eaton made mine. Stock plus about one inch. Nice fit, perfect ride (for stock), great assembly and longevity.

Espo springs on back order for 1 to 2 months or longer , they have no time frame from there supplier , but offer 5% discount

I ran the the 7 1/4 leafs for a few years with some Highjacker shocks, life happened and something around the house always broke. You can also add a leaf to stiffen them up. Better off getting new leafs IMO.

That stinks. I bought my springs from Espo in December and had them by Christmas. Was very pleased. I wonder what happened that their suppliers can’t provide the needed materials. Their springs are well worth it though.

I have a bad feeling that a lot more companies will have indefinite backorder on parts as this year progresses...

I was about to drop $1500 at Hotchkis but there total adds in a CA tax , they just lost my business forever , I don't live in CA and aint paying for there crap , looks like a back order for ESPO springs for now , will get my sway bars an shocks somewhere else , screw CA

I’d recommend getting some hellwig sway bars they are very nice. Bergman Autocraft has all types of good suspension parts he is a forum sponsor also. That’s some BS on the california tax.
