Hi buddies

I live in France and I need some help to import a part.
It's not an automobile part, but a firearm part.
Don't worry, of course, it's not a classified part : just a rear sight for a black powder Remington Rolling-block rifle.
I located this part for sale in USA but the saler (S&S firearms, Glendale, NY) doesn't ship internationally.

What do I need?
Somebody who could buy this part for me and send it to me in France in a padded envelop.
Of course, money for purchase, domestic & intl shipping will be transfered in advance by PayPal.
I'll pay $20.00 for this favor.

Francois

have you tried locating the part on ebay?
you may be able to find a seller on there that will send it right to you

Unfortunately, it's a hard-to-find part for a rare Rolling-block (1870 USN model).
To my knowledge, S&S firearms is the only saler who offers this part.

:thankyou: very much.
Do you speak french in Ontario? Or mostly english?
In France, we are proud that some of our Canadian cousins fight for the preservation of the French language

If he won't ship to Steve, I'm in Georgia. I'll do it.

99% English here in Ontario. The further east you travel(closer to Quebec) the more prevalent the French. Or the further north you travel. Back in school I used to be speak French not too bad....now not so much lol. About all I know now is "qu'est que f**k?" Lol
:thankyou: very much.

je ne suis pas francais mais je suis etudiant en francais

Je suis au Colorado et je vous aiderai a expedier si personne d'autre ne le fera.

French as the official language of Canada and you have to learn it in grade school. I took it in US high school...Pourquoi? Can't help you from California, we probably can't even buy it.

French is a lot easier to learn as a additional language than English. English is tough, there's no formal and informal, and it's backwards to the rest of the world.

I wish I had the babbel app back when I was learning English. I finished high school in the U.S. classified as a foreign exchange student and I had a hard time at first. The American accent sounds so sweet and kind :p compared to the British accent

French has masculine and feminine words. That's not tolerated here anymore. Those will be legislated out soon..
.

Papa fumes une pipe

On a serious note, I took 2 years of French in high school

There is only one word in French I just can not seem to forget, and that word is "oublier"

True story

No, I believe it works. But that's cheatin. lol
How is it cheating, it's not a translator, it's an actual language course. All it takes is a few months with it and you actually learn the language, it doesn't translate, it teaches what the words mean and then you put together your own sentences.

I started last August, my pronunciation is still weak but I can read it and write and understand most of it. I still don't know a lot of words but I can get by. I'm still in the course.
