And by stark contrast, I did a 416 from a 77 360 that was .070 over. So you never know. It was sonic checked and could have gone .100 and had more room. Sonic testing is well worth the money.
On average, what does sonic testing cost? I just don't want to spend a bunch of money buying a bunch of blocks to have them all sonic tested if none of them will work, but it sounds like some have had their blocks to .060 over so it looks like it might be worth my time.
