I picked up a bunch of small block engine parts from a friend of mine that owns a body shop for the last 43 years. Came off a 318 that he had rebuilt a couple of years ago but only put about 50 miles on his 72 Duster in all this time. The block sprung a leak right thru the water jacket to the lifter galley. Bad casting I guess. For sale is Set of 8 Seal Power 285 NCP coated pistons and #645 340 rods with floating wrist pins.
They are .040 over. Crank is std/std but may need the mains turned .010. There is some rust pitting on the rear main. The rotating assembly has about 50 miles on it. $125.00 prefer local pickup or may help deliver between Tampa and Perry Ga.

Roy....double check that crank before you sell it. It may be a 340 crank instead of a 318. 340 cranks had the holes drilled thru the end throws to lighten them, and 318's didn't. Your buddy used 340 rods, so he may have thrown the 340 crank in there too!

The crank is a HD cast crank. They were used with 340/360 rods in trucks.May have been used in cars with the pressed pin. They are not even close to balance a 340 as the 318 piston is way lighter. Kim

I am fairly certain this 318 came in this 1972 Duster 318. It is a 3 speed manual with a 8 3/4” from factory. My buddy junked the block so I can’t Ck it for the VIN.

Any chance you would be willing to sell just the pistons and rods? The crank I have is good, but pistons not so much.
