before the axle turn downs
I've run cars with dumps just ahead of the axle. It's ok if it's a tack car or for local cruising but gets old. Ontario requires the exhaust to exit from under the vehicle so I made my exhaust as seen in the pics. Got a 2 1/2" mandrel bent kit that had enough pieces to make 2 complete exhausts for $180. Running some 12" cherry bomb glasspacks and exiting in front of the rear tires. Just put a slash cut on the pipe and everything is painted high temp flat black. It works for what I wanted and was way cheaper than any premade exhaust kit I could find.
