I like many of you have been searching for mounts for an engine swap. I have been actively checking engine-swaps.com to see if any stock has been added. Today when I went to check the website seems to have been taken down. So I guess it’s time to start looking for a real alternative. If anyone has actually tried some mounts other than Schumachers and has real advice please let us know...
I need info on 71 s6 to 440RB and alternative torque strap in Plymouth Duster

What a shame. An end of an era that most of us assumed would be there forever.

I wish I would have bought more from them if I had known this was going to happen.

Yes, supposedly US Carl Tool has bought out Schumacher, but I've seen zero evidence yet. I'll believe it when I see it.

I used a trans dapt kit for my /6 to Magnum swap. They have a big block kit as well I was going to pickup before it's too late...

I also read about us car took taking over but haven’t seen anything on their website that alludes to this being true. I have seen the translator kit but I believe read somewhere they aren’t the easiest swap for RBs

If you want to pay the shipping how about a notched for Oil pump 340 K member and the mounts/torque strap? Test fit only....

PM if you are interested....

Thanks Slopar I had a spool mount v8 K. But I sold it because I noticed trans salt only had the s6 to RB and no support for v8 Ks. Still would be in same position needing mounts

Just to clarify I have the K member ready for a B/RB and the mounts with Torque strap. Otherwise good luck in finding what you need....

Those trans-dapt kits are ok but they are not the same and always send the wrong passenger mount.

Like I said, it's been a couple years, but last time I got one (2-3 yrs.) everything bolted right up, mount-wise. Sorry to hear you had issues.
It probably bolted right up but wasn't level. Look at the schumacher mount....

Gotcha- you're talking isolators , I was talking brackets. I used different biscuits anyway- the interlocking truck one, so I wouldn't need a torque strap on the dr. side, and I think a slant mount on the pass. side. Went in level.
