Tell that to Larry Widmer. What does swirl actually do?
I'm sorry but you really aren't getting it. Swirl isn't what you think and furthermore its present in all cylinder heads at various valve lifts. Some people claim swirl can centrifuge the fuel out of suspension where it doesn't contribute to power production. Again, I cant produce or control swirl and pay it no attention. J.Rob
The question really becomes what does swirl actually do that allows you to run more static with less chance of detonation.
