My personal opinion. All young folks have different levels of responsibility. But for a first car, I would be very careful about it having too much of a temptation of being on the "loud" pedal. At least till he gets some driving experience.
I thought about just building everything up to handle the supes and them maybe a bit down the road adding it..he will be auto crossing to know how to drive the car and what his limits are with it in a safe environment
