Radiator has shot craps

I have not attempted a stock shroud. I finally settled on how to fix the bent to hell lower radiator support. I am made of more time, than money, plus fabrication skillz so I replaced the lower radiator support with new home fabricated one out of 2x3 14 gage box steel, and repaired the top cap of the LH framerail. The mount holes on the radiator to radiator support needed a little filing to slot them, but otherwise ok. Pix are from about 4 weeks ago.

I will likely just fabricate a homemade shroud like I did for my 67 using a mould I have along with grade A cotton and fiberglass. Readon being is aluminum radiators are thicker than stock copper/brass ones, and a stock shroud will put the fan in too deep slowing down the scavenging effect of the shroud IMHO. The silver support rods are temporary bolt in braces keeping it all square until I change out the inner fenders. The overflow bottle is a Dorman replacement Hyundai Tiburon bottle on an OEM hyundai bracket attached to a 1" square tube riser. Follow My build thread 67/68/69 cuda dilemma near the last pages for the how to on making your own bullet proof radiator support out of about $8 of 14 gage 2x3 box steel and a whole bunch of labor lol.

Hope this helps
Matt
