Slant 6 K-Frame = LOTS of Clearance

Hi everyone, thought I'd post an update...(it's only been a year or so...) I finally pieced all of my components together on the slant six K frame and thought I'd share. For a refresher this is a Mopar crate 6.4 (2017 SRT LX body car configuration) and a slant six K frame from my 71 demon. In my post from last April above you can see the Schumacher mounts, the A/C compressor and the header all bolted to the engine. However.....when I actually tried to put it all together the Compressor and engine mount wanted to occupy the same space. Once I mocked it up a few times I found the opportunity of just under a 1/2" of room to move the engine forward in the K frame before the steering box hit one of the header tubes so I re-drilled the engine side of the mounting plates and moved everything forward by about 3/8". That doesn't sound like much but it helped with the A/C Compressor to motor mount relationship, it gave me more room between the SRV on the back of the intake and the firewall that I'll have to be adjusting, and less of my T-bar crossmember that I'll have to remove to fit in the transmission (Silver Sport A41 package - 4L60E). The first pic is of the redrilled motor mount plates, next is the hacksaw modification to the compressor, the K-frame butchery to clear the low mount compressor and then finally the mount, compressor and K frame all living together and sharing space.
