1969 Dodge Dart Swinger clean up
All a solo act today. Hoe just the perfect length to reach the deck center. Jinxed myself yesterday saying I didn't break the windows out of the hoe. More on the ta doo list. Glue all the pieces together for a pattern :rolleyes: and the next one will be Lexan!
If you ever buy a lift from someone and don't put it all together yourself... have a good look before getting too far into it. Guy was a Cadillac owner.. what can I say?! Had two posts with the cable running diagonal in the post vs straight up, so by half lift the cable is working hard to get off the guide pulley! Top caps on the wrong posts and he also had a lift cable sawing on the hydraulic hose that should have been installed above the cable not below it. That would have made for a rotten day a few years down the road!!
Tomorrow I move the lift back closer to the door and haul the 350lb rolling jack out of the trailer and onto the lift, then back onto the car clean up.
