Edelbrock in California closing a facility

They say buy American and I would love to, but yet it's almost impossible to run an iron foundry in most States due to EPA regulations thats going to get worse under the new administration. But yet the plan is to build huge electrical car plants which ecological footprint is huge. We can store millions of pounds of nuclear waste but by God we better not have an iron foundry.:soapbox:

I’ve never seen an Edelbrock cast iron product.

there’s a bunch of casting places in So Cal. I’d assume mostly aluminum, die cast, and soft metals.

Of course the Aerospace industry is a big customer.

Many old MP and DC parts have BB casted on them.... that’s Buddy Bar in South Gate. They did some Keith Black stuff back in the day. And tons of Aftermarket auto parts stuff ... https://buddybarcasting.com/

There a massive forging place in Oxnard CA that does helicopter rotors.
