What will it run ?

I wasn't questioning whether you could drive or not. You've posted five times in the last 17 years so I wouldn't have a clue if you just bought the car yesterday or you've been drag racing all your life. With that said have you been drag racing the demon at a track?..
track yes been doing that since 1986

my but dyno will lie sometime .. lol
Certainly an experienced driver like yourself, and that has driven the car, will have more insight than us which haven't even seen the car LOL

I have an ideal of what I think it should run . just looking for opinons.

10.80- 10.90 I hope
Oh I see so you know what you're doing...
Such a completely different story..
Like I was saying 10-7 to 11-7 would have been my guess depending on many things. So now knowing some of the story instead of trying to do this by Crystal Ball I'm back down into the 10-7 area... Again though most of what seems to be looking at setting you back is the weight issue...

I hoping for a 10 second street car. The whole ideal of this car is to build a car I couldn't afford when I was a kid.

Hi, I would like to know what you guys think my car will run and how much horsepower. 74 Duster, full interior, mini tub 28/12 rear tires. 391 gear, 727 trans with a 3500-4000 PTC converter, 71 360 .060 over 414 cid. trick flow 190 heads, 12.2 compression, 590/587 248/250 hydro roller cam , 850 carb on air gap intake, 1 7/8 TTI headers. what do you guys think ?

whats the car weigh?

based on that, guessing, 10.90-11.10.
Not in love with the camshaft or the convertor( guessing you bought a 9.5 inch from them)
Pretty good heads so its pretty hard to keep a A body with a stroker, compression, and good heads out of the 10’s... but your trying..lol

Made a few post tonite..lol more than I did the lasts 17 years . Lol
By the looks of all those pictures you’ve done a ton of work over those 17 years on the car vs. spending your time here posting, so you get a pass in my book! The “anti-bench racer” if you will!! When’s the soonest you’ll be able to run at a track?

I love the looks of both of your cars, you do good work.
Personally, I would have left the Duster black, but it still looks great in red!

I think you are right on the money in thinking that it will dip into the 10s with some tuning and track time.........

Nice vehicles. 11.30 on a good day. Just my opinion. Have funnn.

The Demon is badass, love it. Nice Duster too.
I'm in the 10.90 camp with the heavy Duster if everything's right.
I'm thinking the lower stall convertor with a 28 " tire and 3.91 gear will be a determining factor with the result.
