pulling my engine and transmission next weekend to install new engine and new transmission thought it would be a good idea to put fresh mounts in. what is everybody going with ? Polylocs are 200 bucks and have seen members slamming them so I was looking at trans adapt brand for both engine and tranny. since shumaucher is out of business

Trans Dapt is junk.

US Cartool bought Schumacher and is manufacturing some of their stuff.

rubber mounts are great , if you use a torque strap on the left side (about $30.00). I use a poly tranny mount because a lot of fluids wind up there and dissolve rubber quickly . IMO

A trans guy I respect says don’t use poly for trans mount. Breaks tail-shafts. That being said I have run one for 15+ years no issues, but next mount I buy will be rubber.

Says who? I've seen everybody post about it with ZERO evidence.
When you look up US cartool website. 75% of there products our out of stock. They suck I don’t want them to pretend to make Schumacher products they can’t even produce there own. I have no problem getting metal at my job.

Yup. You can make anything mount to anything with Chrysler spool mounts. I'm gonna show yall how to put a big block in a 64 Valiant with all Chrysler parts probably later this year. I don't think it's gonna stay in there though. I've really fallen in love with the slant six. I do want to do the big block swap just to prove it can be done. Then I'll probably sell the whole thing as a kit to somebody.

just found a set on mancini racing's web page mancini racing mag mount set Item# MREMAGMNTA think I'm going with these.
