OK here's another good reason for a teardown of a car you didn't build. On start up the car would make a strange noise kind of like the starter was hanging up briefly. I pulled the harmonic balancer off the engine today and this is what I found. It's an aftermarket balancer of unknown make that's obviously not an exact fit.
