how do i know if my 72 340 duster had a sharktooth grille or regular plymouth duster grille i've seen them with both thanks

They were on Duster 340's, 71 & 72, and I believe on a Duster Twister for 72. If you have a regular grille maybe original was ruined and sharktooth weren't available as repro's till recently.

is there a code on the build sheet thanks bill

All 340 dusters made in 71 and 72 as well as twisters......

Car would be a VS29 code which is a 340. 71 twisters also had sharktooth.

I was told that this is a shark tooth grill on my 71 Duster, but I have never checked it out to be sure?

BTW, that’s a sweet duster. I’ve always loved that orange..
Thanks, I get a lot of compliments on it. Looking at doing a little motor tweaking on the 318 running low 15s now? Ben getting lots of information from this site, still cold here in central MN. A little more time to plan before spring.

That looks really clean. I like those headlights also. I wonder what brand and part number they are.

Don’t know but will try to find info early spring when I take it out of storage. Was fortunate to have been the first person to respond to the MP listing in 16 . Was his unfinished project car that found a new home. I didn’t get all his build info but I thought the price was right. Still learning, as always a work in progress. Think Spring!!
