As I posted earlier I started the restoration of my 69 Dart GT. I would like to replace the fiberglass hood. I bought it years ago from Unlimited and it's a piece of junk. I'd like to get a new one with scoop already molded in. Just like the one in the pic on my car now. What's a good place to get one?

Kramer makes the best one but very pricey. It was done off an original...

After posting that info I believe it might be a special order from Stinger or AAR any way. They don't show that hood, only the scoop and their 6 pack hoods are over $700 if that's any indication of what the "Hemi hood" would go for.

AAR hoods aren't the best choice..I bought one and I'm not happy at all...warped and bosses for hinges are cheap as hell!!!

Yeah I checked AAR. No Hemi hood. Just the scoop.

I'm thinking if it's going to cost me $1,000+ with shipping, I'm probably better off fixing the hood I have now.

You got to get lucky once in a while or life would suck all the time...

I`ve resisted posting on this thread , but my 68 barracuda fiberglass hood w/ a 6 pack scoop was dam near perfect , gapped great and fairly smooth !
They had a special back when the company changed hands (I THINK) , I gave $400 for it shipped , about 10ish yrs. ago !
