Guys, we are always happy to help. This was a shortblock only. Not something we completely assembled and dyno'd here. We will of course send gaskets, silicon, etc. Sucks it leaks, but I don't know how much it is. You don't have to completely tear the engine down. You can usually get them in without taking the main cap loose. So we are talking a pan gasket, and re torquing some bolts...

Morning Frank, much warmer here I am thinking shorts and flip flops, only -13F here. Much colder at your house! Well today is the day, after almost 4 years of stuffing this modern Hemi in the
Demon I am finally ready to try and start it. Wiring and plumbing is all done. Not a single shred or remnant of original wire. If I can just get the Holley EFI to talk to the Dakota Dash to talk to the turfy mother Mopar motor she should just fire right up right? Shop is warming up, some soft Cat Steven’s on jams. Bottle of single malt standing by for toast if I can finally get it to run. This swap is not for the feint hearted and truly on the edge of my abilities.

Arghh.... first challenge of the day. Holley configuration menu wants to verify part number of every sensor known to man. I have saved virtually every sack, box and baggie with a part number over the entire build. I just get to sift thru the pile and find the correct envelope! Sucks it takes this long to complete these projects but you have to save up money buy a part figure out how to install it rinse and repeat. Takes years at my house!
 
2° here with a -11° wind chill. Just cold enough that the blower kicked on for the furnace. When the baseboards can't maintain 72° the blower will kick in .

You have to remove the rear main cap to replace the rear main seal... The rear main seal goes into the rear main cap...
