Build me a truck engine..........

FOR A TRUCK , GO BIG block noting BETTER for a truck , been there done it

I like whats been said i would find a 5.9 magnum and over drive transmission. I used to have a 93 Dodge 1/2 two wheel drive truck. It woukd pull my open car trailer and race car just fine. Unloaded and running 65 to 70 on the highway I could get 20/21 mpg. Or you could build a 408 stroker magnum and run the fuel injection on it

It’s a small block, 4.125” stroke, 4.090” bore.
what kit are you using , or are you buying all the parts separately ? like to know crank rods and pistons being used
thanks

The crank and rods (Comp Star) came from Rod Bloomer and the pistons are a custom Diamond.

408, 8.5:1 compression, and have a custom cam built to what you want.
Truck weighs a lot more them a A body. "Torque" is your "smile for miles" Friend.:)
