68 Valiant - Post Car Not Mine

-
I think it's awesome. I'd leave it just like it is.

I like it as is, real sweet. Wonder what color it is?

-- Probably, can buy for less. -- Find one, that nice. -- Not Mine.
95% of the cars advertised on CL or FM Marketplace never sell and if they do they sell for pennies on the dollar as to advertised prices.
IF I owned that same slant car, I guarantee I could never get anywhere near that price, and matters not how any $$ and hours I would have in it.
Looks like a nice car, but buyers will ask, "for that $$ why can't I find something better than a slant Valiant!?" lol

-- As i Said -- It's not Mine, but I have more detail, regarding what it can be bought for. It's a Extremely Nice Car. -- Find one that nice for Me, for less, and I'll pay, You, a decent finders fee.

So what if it's crazy high priced. He can always come down and there's a fool born everyday who may pay that price. Not my monkee, not my circus. Good luck to him. If folks complained about every overly priced thing here on FABO we'd have enough comments to start a forum. Just my opinion

The price doesn't bother me at all. If I had money and an empty garage space for a mini project, I'd jump on that. No body, paint, or interior work needed. Just drivetrain work. IMHO $14k is cheap for this when you concider all of that **** normally needing to done on one of these without even getting into drivetrain stuff. By now an older A body unless its grandma fresh, is going to need a couple big assed spools of wire, patch panels at minimum, and a paint job. I'd be hunting for a 360 and a 4 speed, or a 46RH doing an M body disc brake and Furd Exploder 8.8 swap. Then drive it as is paint and interior.

-- That's why it has all of the goodies, it was headed for a 340, 4 speed, and the situation changed.
