If the K frame is for V8, it's not "universal", only universal for A engines. If you got the /6 to 340/360 swap brackets, then you got the wrong bracket kit.
Ok, help me understand what is wrong about the kit. I'm not being a jerk, that's an honest question. Like I said, the mounts line up and can be bolted to the K frame. So, from that perspective, the kit seems to work. I'm just wondering about the orientation of the pass side mount.
