Canucks needing heavy stuff from Princess Auto

If anyone needs some heavy stuff, or anything for that matter, from Princess Auto. Online orders have free shipping and for extra heavy stuff they'll cover the first $100. Just ordered a transmission jack. a spot welder and 4 x 50lb bags of blasting media. Purolator to the door = $100.64 and once logged in to my account to check out it took the $100 off. Shipping a whopping 64 cents!..and it'll be off loaded from the Purolator truck right into my shop without me even putting a coat on!
 
I bought a portable garage, they didnt cover shipping.
 
That free shipping on normal stuff and the first $100 on heavy stuff has been in effect for at least a month now.. maybe longer. I'd ask them why?
 
The store is only 5 minutes from my house so, I don't worry about shipping. The transmission jack is a pretty decent piece, I bought one about 3 or 4 years ago, comes in handy for a lot of projects.
 
Hour away for me and the wait in line for curb side pick up as stores aren't open. No way I'm driving and sitting for 64 cents. Just wish they'd ship a bucket of Evaporust.. but they won't.

I bought a canuck tire transmission jack, the under hoist type. Junk. I modified a 5000 lb sidewinder jack, so bittom 1/2 goes up also,keeps the hydraulic part in a safe working zone. Cant jam any more.

lately i havent been able to browse the pa site. So no shopping there for me.

I didn't buy there cheap $120 one that was on sale, I splurged on the $400 one. As for the website, I had the same issue around Christmas and how I know that $100 shipping credit has been there that long at least. They changed their servers with a different identity path and my computer wouldn't allow it to load. Had to get my Son to fix, update, my computer remotely to get access to PA and a few other websites. Possible you just need an update.. bet you're using Windows 7, as am I and won't give it up..
 
Ios. my computer is in the shop,i dont use it for much online stuff.
its mainly used for ordering parts through auto value.

I work 2 minutes from the Mississauga location, and can bring it up to Farlain Lake next time we go up.
 
Thanks! Not critical to acquire at this time, but if we can ever move about freely again I may take you up on that offer and trade a couple cans of Turquoise paint as a down payment! lol
 
Evaporust is not on sale (still 100 bucks a bucket) and they will not ship it as I noted.
 
Yeah they shipped me a few things for next to nothing. Spools of wire, wire wheels for drill, dial indicator, mag base. Great deals there. Some stuff they sell is suspect. Anytime I go, I ask if I can get sale price on Evaporust lol. They have before for $59, and $79.
Great customer service anytime I've been. Online they have some great deals.

Nearest store is an hour away.
Yesterday i noticed a cube van driving down my road with Princess Auto decals on the side. So maybe this store has their own delivery truck?
 
I saw this gizmo in this week’s Princess Auto sale flyer so I had to have it.

It’s a brake fluid moisture tester.

Princess had it on sale for $15. Amazon.com has it for $31.99 US. Not a bad deal at $15!

Did the curbside pickup for this and a couple other “essential” things. I hope it works!

Don’t tell Doug Ford...
