Are A bodies more popular than B bodies?

I have an A-body, B-body and E-body. And they are noticeably different. B-bodies are higher build quality than A or E. And handle the big block better. (I wouldn't do much hard corning with a big block in an A-body.) But B-body actually does corner decent. Far better than it looks.

It was reported on the set of the movie Bullitt that the Charger had to routinely slow to let the Mustang catch up.
