When you get to the NP435, I would appreciate some good pictures of the second gear synchronizer when you come apart. I went through the NP435 in my '72 W200 some years back and must have screwed something up going back together as it has never shifted well going into 2nd since.

BTW, stock factory tach....(drooling). Did it have A/C at one time? I see the ducts that mine doesn't have.

this truck had a dealer add on A/C system. It was a neat little setup, they drilled a 2” hole in the firewall to run the hoses to the under dash mounted radiator thing that then went to the vents. I sold the pump and brackets to another tin grille owner.

So I posted in that “crank breakers” thread... this is the truck. The open header 360 sounded pretty good and I jammed the shift forks together shifting too fast. Got stuck between gears and had to tow the truck back home. LOL Engine made some weird noise too. Man I can’t have anything nice.
