Before I take a long trip down here in the south, I wax the front of the car or truck really good. The day before I leave I usually put a good coat of Turtle paste wax on & leave it until I get where I'm going. I rub the wax off, go about my business & put another good coat on for the trip home. There is no miracle elixir for the doggone things other than keeping the vehicle clean & waxed.
