Do you not have a core? Just send that to Ken at Oregon. H'll grind it however you want. Put a want add in the for sale section if you don't. I'm sure somebody has one. If I had one, I'd give it to you.
You can go that route but if the lobes have any flaking its no good for a regrind thats what happened to me.
On a non hydraulic flat tappet it doesnt matter, but i guess on a roller camshaft its a different story.
