I remember them well. And two of the bad guys were Bronco Lubich and Aldo Bogni along with their manager Homer O'Dell who would whack their opponents with his cane whenever he got a chance. Another couple of bad guys were called the Bolos. And there were the Kentuckians... two big bearded guys wearing overalls with a combined weight over 700 lbs. I saw them once at Atlantic Mills.. a large department store in Charlotte, NC when I was a kid in the 60s. My grandfathers both watched this every weekend.
Just remembered Rip Hawk and Wahoo McDaniel.
