I have a dozen 340 Blocks mostly standard

Post your VIN and I will look through them.

You know it is a chance in 10,000 to 1

But I am happy to check!

Which 340 block is supposed to be the best/strongest block ? Do u have one , and how much >?

Yes.
Were you aware the model year changes in August of the year before.
Many 72 cars had 71 casting # Blocks in them.
What is your build date?
Blocks are not cheap to ship and I am in Las Vegas

I do not live at my shop?
I can check tomorrow
You want the casting number?
OR the Vin #
OR The casting Date

Sorry = I am elderly and not very smart
any more and do not understand what you
are looking for or why?

I was trying to answer the question asked in reply #12.

All production blocks are identical and what we use in our Stock/Superstock/Supercomp race cars. Mopar Performance used to sell an X Block and a R Block that were a bit stronger = However not available for many years and I would pay $3,000 for a decent
one with 59 Degree lifter bore BUT I will never find one anymore!

It would be a 71 block my car is early 72 thanks

I have 11 340 Blocks left in my shop

What particular VIN are you looking for?

With the thousands they made it is a very long
shot to find your VIN

What # are you looking for = I have 11 340 blocks
It would be a chance in 10,000

I am in Nevada and the shipping back East would probably be
$400 to $500 would be my guess.

Looking for 2 340 blocks
