you could also make the spacer tube 3/8-1/2” longer. It looks like the bolt has that much extra thread on it.
just go to hardware store and buy some pipe with same or close ID. Then hacksaw two longer pieces for both ends. **they must be same length both sides or car will be preloaded to one side**
