Electric fuel pump recommendations???

Carter makes two versions of their 100gph 4600 series performance pumps. These are better than Holley pumps for a few reasons: in the C pump, fuel circulates through the elec motor section, which keeps it cool. It also lubes the bearings. There is no seal to leak between the elec section & the pump section, unlike the H which has a seal that can & does fail. I know of a Carter pump that was on a daily driver for 19 yrs, when it was replaced....with another Carter. Not because it failed, but because the owner thought the pump had earned it's 'retirement'.
Really need to know the engine's anticipated hp to properly select a pump. Work on 300hp requires 25 gph & add a 50% safety margin [ 37.5 gph ].
