I’m not sure I understand that. All forced hot air systems create the same dry air regardless of fuel type. The burner is separated from the heat exchanger that the recirculated air moves through so fuel type is irrelevant.

Maybe you meant a different type of system than forced hot air?
Was thinking same...
My heat pump is forced air and has a whole house humidifier on it.
Oil is hot water baseboard. None of that water is released to increase humidity. So if oil heat is on its very dry and with heat pump its not.
