Man, I was looking at these seats in your post and they look really familiar...then it hit me...they remind me allot of the E30 BMW Sport seats like these:

Nice.

check that out. that looks like a cross between the procar eleite and elite lumbar...

thanks joe,,,, look around at your local auto parts store a product called mar-hyde i believe thats how it is spelled, its the best vinyl dye that i know of to do your back seat...summit may carry it...

The Scat seats are popular in customized air cooled VW's . If somebody is thinking about buying some it might be worthwhile to look at ads in Dune Buggy's & Hot VW's magazine. They used to be in there all of the time from several retailers. Don't know what current prices are like, but you might be able to save some money. Just a suggestion.

I have sat in a few customers cars with these seats. I agree Joe, COMFORTABLE.....You also don't budge due to the bolstering!! Good choice. The interior will look great with the front/rear matching in tan to offset the black.

ABJ, thanks for the info on the install.....Ill be putting the rallys in by the weekend. Ill post pics of the process. I can only hope they look as good in my duster as they do in your car Joe. Nice job!

ABJ, I know this post is old...but I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on bucket seats for my 72 Dart. The floor plates you mentioned, are those reinforcement plates? Also, where did you purchase them? Thank you

Yes they reinforce the floor where the seats mount. Got them from eBay. Easy to make though.

Does anyone know what the height of the legs are (circled in red)? I bought the universal mounts and just trying to get an idea of how I need bend the tabs before welding them on.

Thanks!

Looks good ABJ...I just had my 67 barracuda buckets redone and the original estimate of $500 per seat turned out to be $2250 after he was done!!
Not happy. So I have been toying with the idea of buying the seats you have there instead. Was worried they may not fit properly but it's good to hear you're happy with them! Thanks for sharing
