Slant 6 engine builder in Ca?

Get it completely dry and take a compressed air gun and give it a shot of air into the fuel line with the cap on. If it were even dented, this was enough to pop mine back out when I ran over a curb at night and put a pretty good dent into the fuel tank. Also what your looking for is just a machine shop to bore your cylinders out to the next size. It doesn't take a specialist to put it back together. Any cylinder head shop can do a .090 cut on the head and that doesnt even take special pushrods. 3 angle valve job, reground cam, 2bbl intake... headers. That's about as far as you can go with a slant. Taller gear in the back is the first thing I would do to wake up a slant, most came with cruiser 2.76 rears.

I have a machine shop that can bore it out, I did it to my inline 6 on my Jeep. But that was a lot, do they make a stroker kit for the 225? And I heard stroking it only makes it a 232 so is it even worth it?

what’s the easiest cheapest way to get a little more power?

Mmm gears- what gear would you recommend, still would like to be able to go 65 down the highway.
