Need to move some big stuff around in the warehouse this weekend. A mad thrash today got the Picnicuda together enough to get it out for a test drive made me powerful thirsty. Lapped the block a couple times and stopped in at the corner store.
The only surprises were a leaking/over full ps pump, not enough travel for the O/D clutch fork, and the VW axle boot on the B&T experiment was a failure. That aside, today was a good day.

Get the correct boot. Not like they ain't available. I never have liked the boot design.....it's chinsy at best, but "somehow" it worked. lol I did mine last year and so far, it's held up. Just lookin at it, it looks like junk. Hard to believe those joints held up to the abuse of the Max Wedges and Hemis, but they did....in fact, they are arguably stronger than a standard slip yoke.....hard to believe, but it's true. I bet you had a good time though!

Forgot to mention that my friend works in a warehouse shipping and receiving. She’s shipped the few parts Ive sold and received many Ive bought. First stop was to pick her up when she clocked out today. She approves!

Oh I didn't see the picture before. Cool car!

What size wheels and tires do you have on the back? Regardless of your hot rod's finish...The 64-66 Barracudas photographed from that angle, just down right show good!

14x6 w 195-75-14 fronts, 14x7 w 215-70-14 rears. The weathered finish comes compliments of its previous life under a loose tarp.

The weathered finish, the location of the picture and the quality angle of the photograph...just comes across as a "bad *** hot rod." Love the picture. Thank for the numbers.

I love it! A new category "badass patina!" That look will intimidate any new sport compact who polishes his ride weekly.

Diggin' it. Drive it everywhere, park it anywhere.

Cool *** car man!!! Dont change a thing!!! You would be an icon on east coast!!!

Looks like the setting of an old Quinton Tarrenteno film...Los Mehico hombre

Uber cool car.

I wouldn't change a thing - that car is dripping with street cred.

For some reason, the car just looks ''right''.
From the wheels to the patina, I wouldn't change a thing.........

Except Cali black plates. See if you can get a set to put on. Those are almost as sexy looking as the slots on it.

I have a couple sets of black plates. One pair is as weathered as the car, the other are the new reissue vanity plates that read ALIPATO, my radio handle on a job. The DMV is such a goat rodeo here, I’ll visit them... eventually.

Let us know if you need any parts to keep that bad ***** on the street> I don't have a big stash of parts, but I'll gladly contribute any parts I have to keep her on the street kickin' ***!

Thanks, 70Dart- I still need a thousand little things missing when I bought the car as a roller 15 months ago. Where are you at? I’m from Vashon and get up there often to see friends and family.

I'm in beautiful downtown Lynnhood, I mean Lynnwood. You're welcome to visit anytime. I've only met face to face with a couple of members, but they were all a pleasure to talk with over a frosty one or two.
