I am getting ready to install a set P S T LCA poly bushings which came with no instructions.
What grease do you use to lube the bushings?

silicone based grease, astro-glide in a pinch. :p but the graphite is supposed to minimize squeaking from the start.

I have some Energy Suspension silicon grease that I have used before, very sticky. I read somewhere that P S T uses white Lithium grease?

Silicone grease is what my PST bushings came with.
I have poly in about everything but motor mounts.

Silicone grease is what you want to use with poly.

Hotchkis Sport Suspension 3101 Hotchkis Sport Suspension Super Grease | Summit Racing

I use hotchkis super grease, they sell it in a full size tube for a grease gun. You can use the little tubes that should come with the bushings for initial install, but you’ll want something for a gun to use the zerks. I just keep two grease guns, one with regular grease and the other one with hotchkis super grease. Then I just grease everything at the same time. If you hit the zerks for your poly bushings on the regular lubrication interval for your other stuff they’ll never squeak.

Well I will order some of the Hotchis grease.
I pressed the LCA bushings in today
I guess it went together all right, the shafts went in a little tighter into bushing than I thought they should as they are suppose to slip inside the bushing during normal operation.
I'll find out when I get it back on the road.

The pivot shafts should be tight in the bushings. They shouldn't require a full on press fit, but you want them to be a very tight slip fit. Difficult to assemble by hand, especially if you haven't lubricated the crap out of them. If they aren't that tight you end up with slop in the LCA.

I did lube the shafts with silicone grease I could get them about 1/3 way in by hand after that it took a light press to seat them all the way in, they are tight.

That sounds about right! The bushings will spin on the pins just fine with the leverage from the LCA.

As others have answered a silicone based grease would be best. If you ever have any question about any products that we offer please feel free to PM your questions.
